This year 41 BWAG members and 3 guests attended. They heard details about why BWAG had to become a registered company, which was necessary to allow land purchase to go ahead. BWAG has already bought one area of land and another three purchases are going through. Finances are healthy, thanks to the hard work and support of members. Since BWAG started in 2005, approximately £145,000 has been raised for the restoration and conservation of the site. The guest speakers this year were Owen Sweeney and Larry Brooks who gave a very interesting talk entitled the ‘Birds of Bredhurst’ giving lots of information about the bird survey they conducted last year.
