43 people attended the AGM. Two Trustees stood down; Melanie Fooks, Treasurer since the group was formed in 2005, and Membership Secretary, Ann Callen, who is emigrating to Australia. Both have given a tremendous amount of time and hard work to BWAG. They are replaced by Dr Kevyn Wightman, who has her PhD in Forestry and Roy Hopkins, an ex-Forestry Commission manager. Larry Brooks is taking over the roles of both Treasurer and Membership Secretary. After the formal part of the evening, Neil Coombs, Kent Wildlife Trust, gave a presentation on the management of the woods and Cliff Hansford, BWAG Member, gave an update on the research he is carrying out into the history of the woods.
