Following heavy snowfall, this year’s concert was postponed from the 2nd to the 9th December. Despite a lot of snow still on the ground, we had a record attendance of 169 guests and record takings of £1,564, an increase of £606 on last year’s takings. All proceeds will go towards further restoration of Bredhurst Woods.
BWAG Trustees are extremely grateful to all the businesses and individuals who generously donated raffle prizes click here for details; to Kent County Council who, following our request, gritted Hurstwood Road; to Martyn & Kerry Hughes for bringing their much admired Malamutes & Huskies (www.staggansleddogs.com); to Stephen and Jane Page for the use of Green Court and, of course, to The Cantium Singers, whose support over the last five years has turned the annual BWAG Carol Concert into a village tradition. Last, but not least, thank you to all the guests who braved the cold!
